Vacant Marina But it won’t be for long. Was visiting St. Micheal’s Maryland with my sister a couple of weeks before the season starts. The docks will soon be full of all manor of sea going vessels. But for now, not even a seagull to be seen.. .

Village in the water I’ve seen many types of water-side communities, but never one like this. It’s actually in a protected harbor on Presque Isle in Erie, and in the hundreds of times I’ve been there over the years, I never took the side road that leads to this floating village. Over two dozen homes of various designs, floating on the lake. They’re fed electricity as well, so these are true homes. We did wonder if this kept them from paying property taxes!
